This lesson introduces pupils to the concept of the British Empire, Commonwealth countries and colonialism. It provides several topics for discussion.

It is a portrait of the teacher’s shift in thinking, searching for appropriate tools and learning hard about the differences between offline and online teaching.  It has some very interesting points about how and why to reduce the number of activities and the amount of information in order to move one’s lesson online.
